About Twisted Running

Twisted Running is an independent running brand based in Altrincham, creating technical kit for everyday runners and building a community where pace and experience don’t matter. We host regular social runs, show up at events, and ship orders all over the UK from Twisted HQ.

We’re looking for a part-time Garment Decorator & Fulfilment Assistant to help bring our kit to life and keep our packing and shipping running smoothly as we grow.

The Role

This is a hands-on role combining garment decoration (heat press, vinyl/DTF, transfers) with order fulfilment (picking, packing, dispatch). You’ll help turn blank garments into finished Twisted pieces and make sure customers receive their orders quickly and accurately.

Full training will be given on our processes, equipment, and quality standards – we just need someone who’s switched on, organised, and keen to learn.

What You’ll Be Doing

Garment Decoration & Production

• Prepare garments for decoration (de-labelling, lint rolling, layout, etc.).
• Use heat presses and other equipment to apply vinyl / DTF / transfers to garments.
• Weed and prepare vinyl and transfers ready for pressing.
• Follow artwork placement guides to ensure consistent positioning and sizing.
• Carry out test presses and basic troubleshooting (pressure, temperature, time).
• Keep the production area tidy, safe, and well organised.

Fulfilment, Packing & Shipping

• Pick and pack customer orders accurately and efficiently.
• Prepare shipping labels and documentation using our online systems.
• Check orders for quality and completeness before dispatch.
• Restock shelves and help keep an accurate count of blanks and finished goods.

Quality & Process

• Check garments for marks, misprints, or defects and flag issues quickly.
• Follow Twisted’s quality standards for every press and every parcel.
• Suggest improvements to layout, workflow, or organisation as you get familiar with the role.

About You

Essential

• Strong attention to detail – you notice straight away if something is off-centre or skewed.
• Happy with repetitive tasks, but able to keep quality consistent.
• Organised and reliable – orders go out on time and to the right place.
• Comfortable working in a hands-on, workshop-style environment.
• Basic computer confidence (printing labels, checking orders, etc.).

Nice to Have (Not Essential)

• Experience with heat press, vinyl cutting, screen printing, DTF, or other garment decoration.
• Previous experience in warehousing, fulfilment, production, or retail stock rooms.
• Interest in running, sport, or small independent brands.

Hours, Pay & Progression

Hours: 16 hours per week (e.g. 4 hours/day, 4 days/week – to be agreed).

Contract: Part-time, with scope to increase hours as the brand grows.
