You asked for a phone pocket in the leg, so here it is. It sits in the liner, flat against your thigh, where your phone stays put instead of swinging with every stride.

Then the waistband does the rest. Front mesh takes gels, a soft flask, whatever you're carrying — close to your core and quick to reach. Side mesh either side for the bits you want to grab mid-run. Two standard slip pockets, edged in reflective. And a rear fold-over pocket built with a sweat and rain-resistant layer, so what goes in dry comes out dry. That's the part most shorts get wrong two hours into a wet Sunday.

A 5.5" outer shell over a longer 6.5" liner, cut like an undershort so it sits just below the hem — that's deliberate, not a fault.

Built and worn in from our arch in Altrincham, on the same routes our club runs four nights a week.

True to size. We've checked these against the rest of our range, so if you already own a pair of Twisted shorts, take the same size again. The waistband is elasticated with a drawstring, so there's give either side of these figures.
